Tom Hilston

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering, a Masters of Arts in Economics and a Juris Doctor in Law. He was the Village Administrator in Fairport but started his career working for CEI/Ohio Edison as Director of Labor Relations, Director of Operations for Northeast Ohio and as a member of the Electric Power Research Institute.

He served as president on the Painesville Township Board of Education and as president of the Painesville Rotary. He was a founding member and served on the Painesville Township Business Advisory Committee and was a member of the Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Tom served on school levy committees in Fairport and Painesville, on committees for United Way and Lakeland Community College as well as the Zion Lutheran Church. He coached several youth sport programs and was a member of the Ohio National Guard.
