Richard Eckert

Richard graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He had a very successful business career at Armco Steel Corporation where he earned multiple Sales Achievements awards and was on the “President’s Advisory Committee”. Richard started and was President of Integral Structures, Inc. which was named National Builder of the Year and “Top Metal Contractors” of the decade.

His buildings were awarded the “National Building of the Year” by the Metal Building Dealers Association. He was named Honorary Graduate of Trinity High School for the “campus renovation” 10 year project in which Integral Structures provided construction services for 40 million dollars in campus renovations and additions. Richard was involved with the community including Louisville Junior Achievement, Louisville Chamber of Commerce, Greater Louisville, Inc. Economic Development Board Member, Honorary Louisville Chief of Police Award and Commissioned Kentucky Colonel. He was passionately involved with the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
