Reverend Clem Urbanski
Reverend Clem Urbanski moved to Fairport in 1948 from Pennsylvania. He was a chemist by trade but devoted much of his life to the people of Fairport. As a member of the school board he helped lead many campaigns to “save our school.” As an athletic booster, he was instrumental in the completion of the East Street Field project. He also served as president of the Fairport Library Board.
Deacon Clem’s dedication to the children of Fairport resulted in his involvement in Cub Scouts, Little League and St. Anthony’s food pantry. He was instrumental in starting the Breakfast Bunch, feeding hungry children before school. Deacon Clem’s dedication and love of Fairport residents, schools and children will live on in the hearts and minds of many.
