Paul Kapostasy

Dr. Kapostasy was a well-known educator for 38 years. He was an elementary, middle and high school teacher. He presented at state national conferences and worked as a consultant for Effective Schools International, Ohio Appalachian Educators Institute and Battelle for Kids. As a high school athlete, he earned recognition as an All State and All American player in football and All State in track.

He represented Fairport in the Ohio North-South All Star Football Game. He was on both state football and track championship teams. He went on to play on two Ohio University MAC championship teams and played in the 1969 Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
