Keith King
Keith King As an athlete, Keith King participated in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball. His numerous honors include News-Herald Player of the Year, MVP of the G.R.C., V.F.W. Team MVP, and All Ohio special mention. He participated in several musicals including South Pacific and Oklahoma.
Keith worked at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy, detective, SWAT, and Marine Patrol. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an MBA, graduated from Police Executive Leadership College, certificates from ODNR Watercraft, and USCG Maritime Law Enforcement.
In 1991 Keith was named Ohio Watercraft Officer of the Year, Sheriff’s Association Life Saving Award, and in 1994 Lake County Blue Coats Distinguished Service Award. After law enforcement, he founded United Research, Inc. providing services to law firms, indigent defendants, and the Innocence Project. He is the only known private investigator non-lawyer in U.S. History to sit as second chair during trial.
