Joseph Walters
Joe played football and baseball for Fairport Harding High prior to graduating.
He left Fairport a few years after graduating in 56 and eventually started his own insurance agency. Joe found his niche with high-pressure power washers and developed a program to insure them. He was co-founder of the PWNA, Power Washers of North America, and UAMCC, United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners which are now two large programs for the power wash industry.
Joseph D Walters Agency became the #1 pressure power washer insurer in the country being licensed and insuring in 48 states.
Joe was President of Kiwanis, Board Member and District Youth Chairman fo the Elks, Chief Barker of Variety Club International for 2 years, Telethon Chairman 3 years, and did 18-hour telethons on TV with Bob Prince, a long-time Pittsburgh Pirate broadcaster. He was Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce for 2 years and South Hills Chamber President for 2 years. Ran fundraisers for Allegheny Special Olympics and ran fundraisers for various clubs, Elks and Catholic Nuns.
