Janet Adams Douglas

Janet was involved at Harding in Marching and Concert bands, Yearbook Staff, Graphic Arts program and placed 1st in the National Scholastic Art Competition. She earned a Vocational Graphic Arts Certificate and Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Ohio State University.

Janet mentored young photographers, visited local nursing homes, participated in OSU Photo & Cinema groups, organized Community Clean ups, volunteered for Capital Area Humane Society; worked with Maryhaven Women's Center, volunteered for the Furniture Bank and Big Hearts Events. She taught photo classes to youth, community and scouting groups. Janet was the owner-operator of The Adams Studio and was the staff photographer for Columbus Business First.

She received numerous award from the Ohio Arts Council, Professional Photographers America and Ohio, American Society of Media Photographers, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
