Henry "Wally" Kesling

During his 25 years, Wally served as a teacher, Coach and Athletic Director. As Athletic Director he was a key element in the Reinstatement of High School Track, and started Junior High Track and Junior High Baseball.

He had the honor of having the 1999 Harbor Lights yearbook dedicated to him. During his 23 years as Fairport’s Football Coach, he served two terms as President of the Lake County Coach Association. He was also honored as Lake County “Coach of the Year”, The News-Herald “Coach of the Year”, twice named inland Lakes District “Coach of the Year”, and in 1987.
