Hank Werronen
Hank was Class Valedictorian with a 4.0 average, all league center on the 1960 championship basketball team, quarterback of the football team and a member of the runner-up State Championship Track team placing in the discus and 220 yard dash. He graduated with honors in Electrical Engineering and Business Management from Carnegie Mellon University and was a four-year letterman in basketball and track.
After college he served with IBM and Humana, where he was the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Humana Health Plans. He later led Werronen Healthcare Consulting for twenty five years. After retiring Hank became a successful entrepreneur and co-founder of three companies - Personal Health Recording for Quality of Life; Return on Medical Quality Institute; and ExtinQual.
Hank's involvement in the arts included President of the Louisville Orchestra, Board Member and Marketing Chair for National Symphony Orchestra; and Council Member of the Phillips Collection.
