Chris Zalar
Chris Zalar, a 1973 graduate of Fairport Harding High School served as the primary consultant when LifeFlight Eagle, a charitable, nonprofit 501c3 air ambulance company. LifeFlight Eagle had been managed by MedServ International since that time, with Chris continuing to oversee the company and then returning as CEO in 2002 to directly lead the organization.
Under her leadership, LifeFlight Eagle has strengthened its position as a high quality health care transportation provider. She was the 1988 recipient of the National Flight Nurses Association Jordan Award and the Mellen Fellowship in Critical Care Nursing award in 1980. She was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Emergency at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Science, Washington, DC from 2001-2005. She has published books and manuscripts on Air Medical Transport.
